Ms. Lynn Goodermont
Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Superior
Graduate Licensure Bethel University
I love to camp and hike in our National Parks. I just completed a solo hike along the Continental Divide in Glacier National Park. Thrist shopping is a passion of mine outside of school. My dream trip is to hike through Iceland and Norway. Duluth is my favorite destination. Chocolate makes everything better.
My name is Lynn Goodermont and I am excited to be the new Special Education teacher at Flex Academy in Richfield, Minnesota.
I bring to Flex Academy years of experience working with students of all disabilities from preschool through transition. I have case managed students under the categories of Autism Spectrum, Learning Disabilities, Emotional Behaviors Disorders, Other Health Disorders, and even Developmentally Cognitively Delayed. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Superior and my graduate licensure in Special Education from Bethel University in 2009. I am going to return to Bethel to obtain the Academic and Behavior Strategist licensure as well. My favorite part of teaching is working with students and seeing them connect to the coursework and make the strides that we as educators work to help them achieve.
I am a native Minnesota girl who grew up in Bloomington. I love all the four seasons that Minnesota has to offer. My interests outside of school include hiking and camping – anything that gets me outside! This summer I am going to Glacier National Park to hike along the Continental Divide on a solo adventure.
I am looking forward to a great school year at Flex Academy.
